ABOUT CJ JOE

CJ Joe is an International Japanese Reggae Singer "Out of the Fareast"

CJ Joe is Japan's only few Reggae International artist. He sings in Japanese as well as English & Jamaican Patois. Strictly influenced by Bob Marley, Garnet Silk and Denis Brown.

BACKGROUND

In 1991 CJ Joe started off his Career with school mates in Yokohama starting a Sound system called "M.C."

1992: He goes to Tokyo to become a Official Reggae recording artist for CBS Sony with his first cut "Nature” Reggae Hits Parade Vo.1. He started to get famous and performed around Top venues around Tokyo.

1994 He Signs to Ｅpic Sony, release his first album "Warm & Easy" Produced by Tomie Satoshi, Monchi Tanaka.

1995 CJ goes to Jamaica and opens up for Mystic Revealers and sang with the Wailers on the set as his first experience in Ocho Rios Jamaica at a VIP Party. At this time, he had shared special moments surrounding Garnet Silk’s Family, that played a Major role in his life.

His highlight performances started off back in 1998 with "Sugar Minott", Twin Sounds (BK) in Harlem New York City.

Five years later he performances as front act artist for "Glen Washington" in Ft. Lauderdale (Miami),Screw Driver, and Don Yute. His greatest event was when he Opens up for Buju Banton on his “Drive By" tour in New York city with Iwayne, Guidance & Ｍore.

Other front acts were in Japan Include Icons Such as Johnny Osbourne,Yami Bolo,Brigadier Jerry , Admiral Tibet,Everton Blender, Inner Circle, Rankin Joe .

In 1999 he extends his skills from traveling to Jamaica, Uk & US. He was called to go on Tour with famous Hip-Hop artist and Reggae artist in Japan such as Eebra, Mikidozan touring 16 cities in Japan called "Nakama Flex Japan Tour” 2000:

He then Signed with KARIANG / I&I Records releasing his first Platinum Hit Single” Akiramenna”. This song was a hit song in the Japanese Reggae Music Industry selling more than 15,000 CＤs.

In 2003 CJ was invited to” Garnet Silk Tribute" in Jamaica. He Opened up for Sizzla, Anthony B,
ChuckＦenda and Richie Spice.

CJ Joe represents building the bridges for Japan and to the world.

In 2016, the international artist started to perform in the NETHERLANDS, Utrecht with Pacha Mama Sound.

He now lives in Amsterdam, and is Building up his career .

That same year he had his first Philippines Tour in August performing in Manila, Cebu, Boracay with success at "Irie Sunday".

In 2017 he released his first International Reggae Single Debut "Never Fail I" & "Never Fail To Dub" (Trunis Hifi) Released and Published©Runit Music Label Out of Switzerland.

Also in 2017 he released his second cut single "Free Myself" & "Free My DUB" Released and Published & produced by Mykal Daily from ©Daily Ites Music

In October 2017 he stays true to his Japanese Reggae roots with his Single "Roots Stylii" for the "World Wide Riddim" Representing the Fareast Japan. Produced by Sam Gilly Released & Published ℗ 2017 House Of Riddim Productions.

In December 2017 he released his 4th single In this World (Evolution Riddim) produced by Sebat Roots Productionaries out of Argentina w/ various artists from Latin America to Jamaica.

The year 2017 was a very appealing year opening up for "Ijahman Levi" in Rotterdam April // July in the UK "Tribute to Tenor Fly" w/ Congo Natty Family@Electric Brixton, //August in Bali Indonesia "Independence Day"@Apache // Danny Red & Giddeon Family Band @P3 in Pummerend Netherlands.

April & November 2017 he Finished his last solo main show with success twice @Zen Cafe in Amsterdam.

In December 2017 he toured Thailand Bangkok and Ko-Samui for the 1st time with great success.
In January 2018 he was invited to the UK for the "Bright Star Awards " Grand Ceremony being nominated as the "Best International Artist".

He had his first debut show in March opening for Derajah & Romeo K @New Morning in Paris @Lorient in France.

In October 2018 he open at "Anthony B Jah Mason Turbulence" Show at the Cabaret Savauge

In Feb.2019 he relased his amazing video Jah soul CJ Joe feat . Izaba which reached 7K within a few days, produced by Geezzly productions.

He has constant performances in the Netherlands .

He is always working on new songs and is always ready to touch road.

Tour plans 2019 Ivory Coast Africa scheduled.
